What is Strep B (Group B Strep)?

Group B Strep Support (GBSS.org.uk) the UK’s national support charity for Group B Strep infection, have put together this very short and video to explain very simply what Strep B (Group B Strep) is.  The video explains that Strep B is a common bacteria that is found in 1 in 4 pregnant women. That Strep B can cause sepsis, pneumonia and meningitis in babies but most Strep B infections can be prevented with intravenous antibiotics given during childbirth.
